Most of the interior detailing is original with high ceilings, deep crown moldings, chair rail, paneled window, deep windowsills, random width floors and doorways with eared architraves. Off the center hall is the formal dining room featuring a carved marble fireplace centered in a paneled wall a unique cabinet with arched heads and keystones above both the cabinet and symmetrical door on the other side of the fireplace. On the opposite side of the center hall is a large living room with a marble fireplace, built-in cabinets, and shelves, four large windows, chair rail and magnificent crown moldings. From the formal living space, two French doors lead to the relaxing sunroom with a ceiling made from original barn beams. It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy this peaceful country setting! Just across the hall is a comfortable den with a fireplace housing a Vermont Stove, perfect for those cold winter nights. The breakfast area, kitchen with stainless refrigerator, range and Bosch dishwasher connect to the den/sitting room.
